ABOUT | Hi there, I’m Sarah! Most friends call me Sarkie! But I’ve also gotten Sharkie, Saha, Sar, Kierstead, Fiercestead, K-steady, Kerrrrstead. You can call me anything but Kerrrrstead. I’d consider myself to be an adventurous homebody and an introverted people person. I’m the second oldest of seven sisters (nope, no brothers). My favourite place to be is at the table, surrounded by people I love — and ideally baguettes. My second favourite place to be is in the water. I think the most beautiful human on this earth is my grandmother.

People, their quirks, and their stories are at the heart of what I do. I believe the best photographs I can make for you begin with a cup of coffee and learning all about who you are and the things you care about. My style can be described as narrative driven, timeless, emotive, and artful, but more importantly than aesthetic, my greatest priority is that your photographs feel like they are true to your memory.
