At the heart of it all
It’s the groomsman surprising himself to get choked up during his speech in expressing what his friend has meant to him, the bride hoisted up on the barn rafters with her university roommate, both belting an early 2000’s jam 30 minutes after the DJ had packed up, the grandparents beaming with pride to now share the same anniversary date with their granddaughter, the couple who got a second chance at love.
There are few things more beautiful to me than a human being feeling connected to their own life. I’m drawn to anything and everything that brings us back to ourselves and each other and a sense of wonder for what it means to be here. Weddings, when centred in love, can be just that. A chance to feel so much and celebrate life for all that is good in it. That is what keeps me coming back.

How I Show Up
When I come to your wedding, I come caring that you have the time of your life. That you get to have fun, embrace it all, feel every part of the day you’ve spent so much time planning, have meaningful moments with the people that matter to you — and ultimately feel connected to the memories these photos will hold. I come dancing through the line between art and honest documentation. I keep a long view of time, intending to make images that hold a timeless quality to them and will be mean the most 10, 20, 30 years down the road. I lean into my 10 years of experience while being oriented by the genuine curiosity of yours being its own unique and wonderful story I’m taking in as I go. I come rested, laid-back, open-hearted, and ready to celebrate with you!

Having spent the last couple years living in St. John’s, Newfoundland, soon to relocate to Halifax, and with original roots in New Brunswick, it’s safe to say my work has become transient across the Atlantic provinces! And beyond that, I’m always happy for the excuse to travel beyond and abroad.
For the 2025 season, I’ll be based out of Halifax with an extended trip planned for St. John’s (all June). Feel free to inquire to see if your date might align with my planned travel, and if not I can give you upfront details on travel costs for your location.
